Would you like to pick your own mangoes? Then try the “Mango Picking Adventure“: You will be given an escorted tour for your family and friends to pick your own mangoes. You will learn about the different varieties and how to identify them yourself, be able to taste them, and the 50-year history of the plantation.
Tour time is approximately 1 hour. Tours are offered 7 days a week at (10-11); (11:30-12:30); (1-2); and (2:30-3:30).. You should arrive 15 minutes before the tour begins. Walk-ins are possible if time slots are not filled.
Cost: Picking Tours are $20/adult and each adult is required to pick at least $60 (about 17 lbs of mangoes at $3.50/lb). The total minimum cost is $80 per adult. There is no charge for children. A typical family of 2 adults plus children is $160, which includes 34 lbs of mangoes. Thirty-four pounds is approximately one full milk crate. It is OK if some adults in your group do not pick 17 pounds as long the adult group total averages 17 lbs/adult. A $50 deposit is required to reserve a Picking Adventure. Your reservation deposit can be paid “Here” (scroll all the way to the bottom of the page). Many families and groups purchase more than the minimum required. Your extended family and friends will be truly amazed and forever thankful when you share their sweet goodness with them. A Picking Adventures can be rescheduled if the weather prevents the tour but otherwise there is no refund on deposits. As you are checking out from paying the deposit, look for the NOTES section near the bottom of the page and enter the date you would like to schedule, the time slot desired, and the number of adults in your group. We schedule 4-time slots each day, on a first come basis as follows: (10-11); (11:30-12:30); (1-2); and (2:30-3:30). After we receive your deposit, we will confirm your appointment by email. Our pricing is based on Cash as we do not accept credit cards.
Come and build a memory with us (24-hour advanced notice recommended). Weekends fill up fast. Many make this a yearly event. If this is your second or more Picking Adventure, you will receive a $25 discount on your next Mango Picking Adventure deposit.
You are free to pick any amount once you have satisfied your minimum, at $3.50/lb. We observe that most people do pick more than the minimum. If you find this is more than you want to spend, you can always purchase your desired amount from our store at 3.50/lb.
It is best to wear closed shoes to protect your feet. Bring Bug Spray after long periods of rain. We do not have restrooms, so please find facilities before arriving. Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.
